We collect only the information that is reasonably needed to run the Platform and to provide our services to you:

• Account details: name, mobile number, email address, password (stored in encrypted/hashed form — we never store your password as plain text), residential address and Pin Code.
• Pandit Ji specific details: KYC documents (such as Aadhar Card and photograph), years of experience, speciality, education, tradition/regional preference, languages known, and the services offered.
• Profile photo: the photo you choose to upload to your profile, for both Users and Pandit Ji.
• Booking & payment information: the puja/service booked, date, time, amount paid and payment status. Card/UPI/bank details you enter for a payment are processed directly by our payment gateway partner and are not stored on our servers.
• Communications: messages you send us through the Support/Contact section, and any feedback or ratings you submit for a Pandit Ji or booking.
• Automatically collected information: basic technical information such as browser type, device type, IP address and pages visited, which helps us keep the Platform secure and improve it over time.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account, and to verify it through OTP.
• To match Users with an available, verified Pandit Ji for their chosen service and Pin Code.
• To process payments, generate booking confirmations, and manage cancellations/refunds.
• To verify a Pandit Ji's identity through the KYC documents submitted, before approving their account.
• To contact you regarding your booking, account, or support request — via SMS, email, or phone.
• To improve our services, fix issues, and keep the Platform secure from misuse or fraud.

5. Cookies

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the website is used, so that we can improve it. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some features of the website.

6. How We Share Your Information

• With the Pandit Ji assigned to your booking, to the extent necessary for them to reach you and perform the puja (such as your name, contact number, address and puja details).
• With our payment gateway partner, solely to process your payment securely.
• With our own team/administrators, for KYC verification, support, and platform administration.
• Where required by law, or to respond to a valid request from a government or law-enforcement authority.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including password hashing and access restrictions on our admin systems — to protect your personal information and KYC documents from unauthorised access, alteration or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account and booking information for as long as your account is active, and thereafter for as long as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

9. Your Choices

You can review and update your profile details (including your profile photo) at any time by logging into your User or Pandit account. If you wish to have your account or personal data deleted, you may contact us using the details below, subject to any information we are required to retain by law.

10. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
